Pool & Spa Maintenace Associate- Paid Training

Armond Aquatech Pools is a growing third-generation, family-owned in-ground swimming pool construction, and service company. We build and maintain high-end swimming pools throughout the Main Line and Delaware Valley.

Job Description:

The Service Maintenance Technician for Armond Aquatech Pools will report to the service manager, performing water testing, pool cleaning, general swimming pool maintenance, and other duties as assigned by management. Weekend and overtime work will be required at the discretion of management. The Service Maintenance Technician is seasonal employment from spring until late fall, with the possibility of full-time employment based on performance. Any applicants hired for the Service Maintenace Technician position will go through a paid multi-week training period to ensure proper knowledge of pool chemistry & maintenance. All applicants must have a valid driver's license. Acceptance of the position will include paid training.

Position Responsibilities

  • Test pool & spa water, adjusting with chemicals as needed

  • Empty skimmers & pump baskets

  • Vacuuming pools & spas to remove debris

  • Brushing pools & spas, including steps, tile, & walls

  • Skimming pools & spas for debris

  • Checking pool & spa equipment for proper normal function and assessing problems

  • Working on a team opening pools & spas during the spring season, as well as follow up opening visits

  • Working on a team closing pools & spas during the fall and winter season, as well as installing covers

  • Reporting any issues to technical manager for further assessment

  • Recording of work performed via phone application

  • Communication with customers of tasks performed, any relevant issues, and or possible future maintenance

  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of chemicals, parts, and supplies on company-owned vehicle

Position Qualification

  • Previous pool & spa experience preferred but not required

  • Applicants have a valid driver's license

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to communicate with customers, as well as be empathetic and responsive to customer concerns and needs

  • Must maintain a high degree of personal integrity, a strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment

  • Must possess a positive attitude, professional communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a clean appearance that reflects Armond Aquatech Pools

  • Competitive wage with available overtime paid weekly
